GPM-AI

Automation for a pain-medicine practice in Maryland.

GPM-AI is the software I built for Global Pain Management. It checks patients in against the practice’s EHR, classifies incoming faxes, and invoices records requests, and it came with a new website for the practice.

.01 · What it does

What’s in it.

  1. 01

    Patient check-in

Check-in runs against the practice’s EHR (NextGen). When a patient can’t be matched to a chart, the front desk gets an alert.

  2. 02

    Incoming faxes

Incoming faxes are classified automatically. The same classifier has been tested on real credentialing documents for an affiliated group of surgical centers.

  3. 03

    Records requests

Records-request invoicing is built and covered by 317 passing tests.

  4. 04

    Staff copilot

    Per-user staff sign-in and read-only EHR tools for a staff-facing AI copilot. Phases 1 and 2 of a 4-phase design shipped in July 2026.

  5. 05

    Practice website

A new 31-page website for the practice, which I also designed and built.

.02 · How I know it works

What’s been tested.

The whole system is closed-loop and HIPAA compliant. Chart matching was validated live against real patient records, and when I audited my own code I found two check-in correctness bugs and fixed them before they reached a patient.

There are no screenshots on this page because the system runs inside a medical practice. The numbers below are what I can share.

317
